I’m not much of a wildlife photographer. Sure, if the opportunity presents itself, I’ll catch the odd rabbit,turtle, deer, or whatever, but I don’t devote sessions to wildlife…with two exceptions. In 2025 I had multiple opportunities to catch birds in flight. First in Sanibel Island, Florida photographing seabirds near the island’s wetland areas. Second, hummingbirds in Silver City, New Mexico, and there I spent three intense days trying to perfect my skills, learning to use every trick my MFT camera had for catching the little birds as they fed.
