A Love Letter to Petworth

On 10 May 2022 I loaded a final few belongings into our Volvo, locked up the row-house for the last time, and headed north along Georgia Avenue out of the District of Columbia. We were moving back to the upper midwest to be closer to our families, but for almost 12 years DC’s Petworth neighborhood—unique…full of friends and memories—was home.
